#jkltip As much as it feels super weird, share video with others, at least Snapchat (It disappears, yay!)… And if you just can’t bring yourself to share, then record and stash away on an old thumb drive, or in the cloud. One day your family will appreciate being able to play it back
No matter what we want to do; create music, learn to dance, or start a new business, unless we have already started, then it is entirely possible we could have started sooner. I used to buy things like paintbrushes, or make notes “once I finish my basement I’ll film workout videos”. It’s almost laughable for me to think that I haven’t made a painting, or workout video. I used to always prepare for the future, like the person who has been stocking supplies in their bomb shelter for an entire life, only to have it all go to waste.
I would hoard ideas and plans, so that once I knew how to make them perfect I would do something. Well those of you who have been following, or supporting know full well that I have passed up many opportunities along the way because I was never willing to be vulnerable enough to just start.
There are so many times I think: if I started last year, or if I started last month, or heck if I started 10 years ago, I would be so far along… But, NOPE ???
Luckily I finally have the wisdom to take the approach of No Filter, thus when I think of something I do it, vulnerable, or not. Here’s some proof, I hate the sound of my voice, look silly and am sitting in an unfinished basement, a crappy cell phone to record, all things that would have kept me from uploading this before, but not this time.
