JKLTip Don’t put too much pressure on results, they really don’t matter much eventually. Just put in the work, try your best and get some rest.
If we’re going to watch a movie that we have heard is great, or we recorded the Bachelor to watch the next day, we try to avoid internet, twitter at all costs so we can enjoy how it plays out, the suspense, the enjoyment in real time. If the ending is ruined for us, the joke becomes “spoiler alert”
I think we can all appreciate how upsetting this can be, but in life, for the real stuff we need a few more spoilers, like:
Spoiler Alert: When we’re at the end of life, we will care about: feeling unburdened, unburdening to those we love, and a sense of wonderment.
Spoiler Alert: If you are a good person first, then money, fame may come, but they won’t matter
Spoiler Alert: No matter how much you know, you know way less than you could
Spoiler Alert: No matter how good you are, you way more capable than you think
Everyone we know has anywhere from zero, to let’s round up and say 100 years to live, that is to learn, to have fun and to have an impact.
Harsh, scary? Maybe, but only because we default to fear.
It need not be, it can simply be true, and can be what unlocks our vitality, joy, and lowers the pressure.
