Dream Big – Be Smart ??
“Can’t Sleep, Too Busy Dreaming” reminds us that we can be so alive, so with it in our dreams. Without getting into the science of Sleep, we’re able to think, perhaps create. Most of the time it’s when we’re “daydreaming” – slipping into this wonderland, or nightmare of “what if’s”…
Is it healthy? .
It can be, but in this case I’d rather focus on the dreams we come up with, making us think “I wish I could_______” type dreams that we choose not to chase, or don’t know how to chase
We all have them:
Jobs we want to do, ideas for products, hobbies we would like, companies to start, books we’d like to write, movies to make, houses we’d like to own and vacations we’d like to take. We see a lot of talk on social media, like you can be whatever you want – if you set your mind to it
I could write, or record non stop on this topic, with thoughts for months, so here’s my best to make a tight post on the Dream Big Culture
.
Dream Big: The experience alone of going with your gut, finding answers to the what if’s and trying will prevent people from regret and will provide learning opportunities that we never could have predicted, and hey, maybe just maybe they’ll hit it big. So (any) outside chance is possible and so many stories exist to prove it
.
Be Smart: At the root of bad advice to “play it safe” is naiveté, perhaps they don’t understand the benefits of someone following their dreams; or protection, they feel as if they’re helping protect those we care about by helping them take the path most followed, the only truth in this is that you don’t have to bet your life. You can chase your dreams while ensuring your non-negotiables, of health, basic needs and kindness
