JKLTip What opportunity have you turned down lately that might have created an opportunity?
Just can’t shake this throwback Thursday today I guess. What is the best thing that happens if we step outside of our comfort zone and try something new? Well, we have an opportunity to find a passion we never knew existed. We have an opportunity to meet people who may someday help us, or more importantly people who we may be able to bring value to some day.
What is the worst that happens if we step outside of our comfort zone and try something new? Well, we have an opportunity to learn something that will help us later, or more importantly we experience exposure to feeling vulnerable, feeling fully alive.
If we take the approach just keep learning, then there are genuinely only experiences and circumstances to at worse, practice life.
Practice may not make perfect though, like the cliche leads us to believe. I mean what is perfect really if not a vague, relatively irrelevant term? What practice does make, is progress in the direction you are headed. Big or small, strenuous, or safe, the practice we put in in the micro, simply makes us better in the macro.
All this to say, I thought this was a good day for some old photos. You might think these photos are from our wedding, but they’re not. These photos were from our first influencer opportunity. An opportunity to be models, presented to us to promote an amazing photographer, venue, hair stylist, magazine, jewelry, and who knows, perhaps it could have gone terrible, but above all it was an opportunity to experience, to be vulnerable and to learn.
