It’s Not How We’re Wired

JKLTip Pick something you want to learn, or improve at and follow the four simple steps

Humans cry, kiss, we hurt and heal. Humans learn, take risks, we and .
It’s how we’re wired. All of us. A lot of times we see someone real strong in a given area, or who struggles a lot and we say “it’s how they’re wired”. Wires are fixed, difficult to mold, or rearrange.
.
We do have predispositions, but how we act in terms of motivation, effort, passion, and interests have nothing to do with “wiring”. These things are learned, one way or another, we learn to be weak, to be strong, to be motivated, to be lazy. It’s learned, NOT how we’re “wired”. It’s more like what we have downloaded, how we have been programmed, and the awesome thing is, just like any program, we can be updated, All of us
.
I get this a lot: “I wish I was as patient as you” or “I wish I could think that way”. The good news is, if we truly want to be more creative, more compassionate, more energetic, then all we have to do is install an update.
But how? This is where learning comes in. Some of us need more than others, but regardless the process is the same:
First, decide, “I want to be more_____________”
Second, hire, or tap a mentor, free, or expensive.
Third find resources to learn from (books, blogs, videos)
Finally, practice and repeat the steps as necessary
