#jkltip Think of one thing you would like to learn, one thing that would be your “dream job” and start doing at least a few minutes of those things every day
When you think of what you love to do, or want to do the answer will come rather quickly. This is because we don’t get to decide what these are. Our passions, dreams, our “what we love to do’s”, and our “what we would love to try’s” choose us. So the concept of “go with your gut” couldn’t be more important in terms of deciding what to do in life, if you want to lead a life of vitality and happiness
If I ask you what you would love to do, your answer will likely come rather quickly. Let’s say the answer is “sing”. You would love to sing. What I say in response is, well then sing. Sounds simple, I know. To which there will be many reasons why you “can’t”. Only you know them, but they are things like I’m not good enough, or my dad says I need to get a real job that actually pays, or I don’t have a good microphone, on and on…
We all have reasons we “can’t” do, or learn that thing and these reasons are super powerful, so powerful that the vast majority of us will continue to say, or believe others who say “I can’t” or “you can’t”. What I suggest is try to find the things you love, the things you want to learn and identify the things “YOU CAN’T” do and do those things, every day.
But here is the kicker, in order to reach a level of vitality, it has to be something you would actually love to do, you have to be vulnerable and surrender to trying it and most importantly you can’t measure the success of doing it based on financial, or social gain.
This is KEY! Trying something like singing could make you a superstar, world famous, or uber rich, but it also might not and that’s ok, because you are doing it every day because it is what you love to do, not because of some expectations and that will bring you true vitality and happiness.
