I have always loved video. Something about creating similar to E:60 sports has been deep within me since long before Youtube and I made a lot of fun videos over the years on old camcorders.
What I never did, unless while playing sports was find myself on the other side of the camera. Much like wearing a mask, I always found comfort being the volunteer, quickly hiding behind the camera. So now it’s time to start pushing myself, to create content, but also push my vulnerability and step on the other side sometimes, before it’s too late
It’s the first Tee at the golf course thing, feeling scared, feeling a bit like EVERYONE is watching and you freeze up, or in many instances you don’t even start playing the game. I can’t count the number of times that I have heard people don’t play golf because of what others think of them. So often we miss opportunities in life for the sole fact that we “think” others are paying attention and that they care. I don’t want to use the Dr. Seuss quote, because it is so incredibly Cliche, so let’s see how it comes out in my own words.
